The South Lincolnshire Green Party holds bi-monthly meetings for members, supporters and anyone interested in Green issues. Meetings are held on a Saturday afternoon during the winter and on Wednesday evenings during the summer. The venue moves around the districts - please see below for further details. Lifts are often available, so please contact us if you cannot get to a meeting.
Saturday, 19 January, Bourne at 2pm: Wake House, 41 North Street, Bourne PE10 9AE. This meeting is a candidate selection meeting incase of a snap General Election. It is important that as many Green Party members as possible attend this meeting, whether or not they intend to stand as a candidate. The deadline for nominations is 12 January and anyone interested in standing as a candidate should contact Ian Andrews at email@example.com
Saturday, 16 February, Grantham at 2pm: Senior Citizens Club, Welham Street, Grantham NG31 6QU. This meeting will be the AGM. Officers will be elected to various posts, such as Secretary, Coordinator etc. If you can support your local party by holding or job-sharing one of these posts, please attend the meeting. Normal business will be discussed afterwards.
Wednesday, 10 April, Spalding at 7pm: Red Lion, Spalding PE11 1SU. The last meeting before the council elections. We will need all hands to the deck in the run-up to the district council election on 2 May. Please come along and find out if there is something you can help with! There may be some pre-meeting deliveries/canvassing to undertake.
