Get Involved

We’re open to all those who wish to be part of better future for our children and the planet.  You can get involved by attending our regular meetings, joining the party, and volunteering for local and national projects.

ATTEND OUR REGULAR MEETINGS

The South Lincolnshire Green Party has changed the way it organises meetings.

  • Following a successful trial, meetings for the committee are now held monthly by Zoom (anyone can ask for the link to attend).
  • Quarterly meetings are being held for memberssupporters and anyone interested in Green issues.  We will invite a speaker and open up the invitation to Greens in the East Midlands.
  • Normally, meetings are held on a Saturday afternoon during the winter and on Wednesday evenings during the summer.   Due to the large area we cover, the venue moves around the districts.
  • Please contact us if you would like the link and do not receive an agenda e.g. if you are not a Green Party member.
  • Lifts to physical meetings are often available, so please contact us if you cannot get to a meeting.

NEXT MEETING

SLGP meetings are held online on the last Thursday of each month.  The exact start time can vary.   Although this is a COMMITTEE MEETING, other party members are more than welcome to attend.

JOIN THE GREEN PARTY

As a member, you can be as active as you like – from armchair and online support to standing as a candidate for election. For more information, please contact Anne Gayfer by email.

With your help we can achieve further success in town, parish and county and even general elections!  We need lots of enthusiastic, committed and hard-working members, volunteers, and candidates. We are particularly keen to ensure diversity amongst our candidates.

Students: Join the Green Party for just £6 a year!

VOLUNTEER

Even if you don’t want to make the commitment of joining us, we always welcome supporters and volunteers. Volunteers can help with our campaigning work. Could you help deliver leaflets to your street, or go out with our campaign team and speak to local residents about their concerns?

Do you have fundraising experience or web design, press, research and administrative skills?  Whatever your level of experience and however much or little time you can give, we would love to hear from you.
